Last updated: July 15, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, or using TZRO ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Software.

2. License

TZRO is distributed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, subject to the conditions of the Apache License 2.0.

3. Use of the Software

You may use TZRO for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:

  • Use the Software to violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer any proprietary server infrastructure (note: the client software itself is open source).
  • Misrepresent the origin of the Software or claim it as your own proprietary creation.

4. Local-First Processing

TZRO is designed as a local-first tool. All task execution, file reading, data formatting, and inference processing occurs on your local machine. No data is transmitted to external servers by default. Optional cloud model integrations (e.g., for planning) are user-initiated and require explicit API key configuration.

5. No Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall TZRO, its authors, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

7. Updates and Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page.
